Editorial storytelling (B2B, industry, business)

Story instead of headline. We are looking for you.

You can not only understand complex economic topics, but you can also explain them in a way that keeps people interested.

For our successful INDUSTRIEMAGAZIN YouTube video formats about business, industry and the automotive sector in particular, we are looking for talented people who can build stories. No news summaries, no PR texts, but real narratives that stick.

What you do with us:

• You develop storylines for our video formats
• You translate complex topics from industry, business and politics into clear, exciting stories
• You build dramaturgy: introduction, conflict, development, resolution
• You work closely with moderation and production
• You recognise topics before they become visible to the general public and make them narratable

What the content is about:

• Transformation of the automotive industry (Europe, China, global)
• Energy, industrial policy, supply chains
• Power shifts in the economy
• Technological upheavals and their consequences

What you should bring with you:

• Experience in feature, reportage or documentary storytelling
• Very good general education and a genuine interest in business and politics
• A flair for dramaturgy and language
• The ability to get to the heart of complex content without simplifying it
• Ideally experience with video, podcast or other narrative formats, also in the field of moderation

What you won't do here:

• classic newsroom
• SEO texts
• produce irrelevant content

Why this is exciting:

We create formats that tell the economic reality in such a way that people want to understand it. If you are interested in why something happens rather than just what happens, then that's fine. Don't send us a standard application.Send us examples that show how you think and write. Minimum salary for this position is 2,687 euros (full-time). Overpayment is of course possible depending on qualifications and previous years of service. Part-time is also possible. We are located directly at the U6 station Dresdner Straße, hybrid working is possible. We work on Apple devices and subsidise lunch.
