| About

RETHINKING WASTE (RW) is a virtual expo and forum presented by ISWA and Waste Management World and powered by WEKA Industrie Medien.

The virtual expo and forum is open for all those interested, or working, in waste management. It is organised over the course of two days to ensure registrants from all over the world will have the opportunity to attend the live events, but have also enabled sessions to be recorded and available for replay.

Our themes include:

  • Collection and Handling
  • Biological Waste Treatment
  • Recycling
  • Waste to Energy
  • Green Recovery
  • Closing Dumpsites

Get inspired by high level keynote speakers in professional waste management, join breakouts, stroll through the exhibition space and network with peers and organisations.

The International Solid Waste Association (ISWA) is a global, independent and non-profit making association, working in the public interest to promote and develop sustainable waste management. ISWA has members in more than 80 countries and is the only worldwide association promoting sustainable and professional waste management. ISWA’s objective is the worldwide exchange of information and experience on all aspects of waste management. The association promotes the adoption of acceptable systems of professional waste management through technological development and improvement of practices for the protection of human life, health and the environment as well as the conservation of materials and energy resources.

Waste Management World is the official publication of the International Solid Waste Association (ISWA) and the only global magazine covering all aspects of the solid waste and resource industries. Since 2000 they have been examining the latest developments and innovations from the Recycling, Waste to Energy, Biowaste and Municipal sectors.

WEKA Industrie Medien GmbH is one of the leading publishing companies for decision makers in Austria with special focus on industry sectors. By publishing more than 14 print-magazines, organising about 25 events per year, as well as offering content marketing and corporate publishing services, WEKA Industrie Medien is shaping the landscape of the Austrian industry.

ADVANTAGES OF A VIRTUAL EXHIBITION

As with all online events, a virtual expo allows you to benefit from the almost unlimited reach of the Internet. Access to the virtual event from anywhere, anytime. You only need a stable access to the Internet and a smart device.

In addition to the range, the time and cost factor are major advantages of a virtual expo: where there are often participation hurdles at a presence trade fair due to travel (time factor) or the expenses for travel and possibly accommodation (cost factor), these are omitted at an online trade fair.

+ High range
+ Great cost savings
+ Flexible number of participants
+ Optional anonymity

VIRTUAL EXHIBITION STANDS

Use virtual information and exhibition stands to inform your visitors about your company, your product or career opportunities, for example.

Your booth will be located in a virtual exhibition hall and is designed in the corporate design of your company. Flexible modules give each exhibition stand an individual touch, for example the stand modules video-screen, the document/download area, 3D-viewer or an in-booth meeting room for up to 5 people.
