Theme days, events, trade fairs: these calendars are the best way to plan your campaigns for 2020

Would you like an even better overview of the B2B events of the year? Then try Eventwrap, our business event calendar!

Do you actually know when Chicken Curry Day is in this still-fresh year and when we can all look forward to Popcorn Day? No? You don't have to. But what you do need to know is: This year alone, there will be more than 500 theme days and B2B events like trade fairs that offer golden opportunities for your marketing for theme setting. With these marketing calendars, content planning becomes a little easier.

We doubt that Sweatpants Day on 21 January will be an important event for your B2B marketing, in whose thematic crease you can spread out your own topics. Likewise, that Old Things Day on 2 March 2020 is the right date to honour the achievements of your own development department in a social media campaign.

But many of the - altogether around 500 theme days and trade fairs in German-speaking countries - could also be a thematic wing for you to play your themes either via corresponding hashtags on social media platforms or directly in your content hub.

We have found some of the most useful marketing calendars for you to plan your campaigns in time:

Twitter published Regularly a calendar with important eventstrending among users of the social platform. Some of these events are also suitable for B2B companies for Twitter campaigns. How to best use hashtags and trends on Twitter for your content marketing, is described here.

Twitter has its own event calendar prepared for different markets.

PR-Gateway is a free service for the distribution of press releases. The now published PR calendar not only informs about themed events such as the "Day of Animal Biscuits", but also about all important B2B trade fairs or events useful for one's own PR, such as World Water Day.

You can download the PR calendar download here free of charge.

Clearvoice, a provider of software for managing content marketing campaigns, has published a really rich content calendar for 2020 and 2021 and a nice guide on how to prepare your own content for these events. Although most of the dates are particularly relevant for the Anglo-Saxon region, the upside of the calendar is that it can be used as a template for your own editorial calendar because it is prepared as a Google Sheet. Here you can download the Clearvoice calendar.

An important event and a warm invitation to finish: be there on 21 January when we make you fly - and launch our new B2B marketing agency. You can find more about this appointment here.

Okay. We'll tell you this too: Chicken Curry Day is on 12 January.
